I was really intrigued by this horn, i'm normally an alto sax type of guy. Pleasantly surprised with the quality and craftsmanship of this instrument. I have yet to master it, but it sounds really good. If u are starting out, well this would fit your needs.....

I bought this soprano saxophone primarily for a solo in my high school's Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. But when I got it the handle on the case was broken off, and a screw was missing making the G unplayable, In addition, It was a half step flat with the mouthpiece pushed all the way on. I even took it to my teacher and he did not know of any professional who would be able to play it in tune. The metal seemed very malleable and of poor quality. It is good for messing around on alone, but it is awful to play with in a group. If you plan to play a Soprano Sax for a group it would be better to go with one of the top proffesional (Selmer, Cannonball etc.) or student (Vizo, Yamaha etc.) models.
I bought the saxophone because I liked it, thought it was very beautiful. It was with great price. I liked the quality of the instrument. Great sound.
