Still have my original Gear Keeper, purchased over 25 years ago. It still works great, but the elastic cord that attached to the microphone was getting thin. The new one is about one third the size, but I like it even better. Plus it is about half the cost of the originals. The elastic cord is redesigned and now uses a solid cord with a plastic tension-er device. These save a lot of wear and tear on your microphone. I always know exactly where my mike will be when I reach for it. Excellent product!
