Placing it on a tripod works wonders but the extra mounts mine came with have been very handy as well!, don't expect this thing to be the brightest line outside on a sunny day, but if its a bit cloudy out you can get a decent line out of it, and inside the house its perfect very solid and visible no issues here!

I love Bosch lasers but this one is definitely not up to Bosch standards it’s a 35.00 homeowner laser you have to shut off all the lights and pray the sun goes down to even see the laser at 15ft indoors
