Although, not strictly scale or strictly prototypical, Bachmann's EZ Track makes designing and assembling an operational lay out so easy! The track is available in several radius curves and straight lengths, turnouts and crossings of varied angles. All components can be assembled to each other to produce a viable path for a train, omitting annoying problem areas that can occur when assembling a plan of spontaneous design. Additionally the necessary wiring and controls can be snap fit to the system with ease. A further advantage is the ability to, at any point, insert additional segments and the flexibility to modify the original plan without major disruption of the whole. The track can be set up on the floor or table top.

The assortment of tracks was ordered so as to make the lengths of the track the same as the straight leg of the switch. they worked OK, however, were not exact but not the blame of track but my measuring. Also while trying different sections to accomplish right length on of the rail came off one of the short sections. I was able to get it back into position however not sure how long it will last. I keep it connected with the other sections not being used.
