This pedal has everything you need in one convenient package. There are simulated distortion, chorus, delay, flange, phase, pitch shift,....(and too many others to list) from Boss to EH to MXR and Echoplex...All of the effects have adjustable parameters in almost every aspect of the effect. Also the multi-function expression pedal can control everything from pre and post volume to effect level, modulation, speed, mix, not to mention gain level, and each band of the 4 band e.q.. I cannot forget to mention the "on the fly" Wah funtion available anytime with a quick push of the pedal(that is pressure senative and you can adjust the sensativity) The Wah has one of the best sounding wah effects that I've heard from a processor. I personally use the "Clyde" and, well we know what one of those sells for.The buit-in drum samples are really cool sounding as well and fully adjustable (Beat, Tempo and Volume) I have owned inividual pedals(which, I won't lie, sound the best and are very costly), The DOD Tech 8, the RP 300, The GNX 3000, RP350 (two times)and both the RP300 and RP350 give you no pause when switching banks/effects (like inividual pedals) where as the DOD and the GNX 3000 leave a slight hesitation when switching. Also don't forget that you can plug in to the computer to save your custom settings and using the "Cubase LE4" software (included new), record you own music. The RP350 guitar multi-effect processor includes Cubase LE4 music production software. You can easily arrange, record and produce your own music on your PC or MAC. The RP350 gives you guitar tones from jazz, blues and rock to full out metal – all recordable directly to PC or Mac via the RP350’s USB streaming output. Why?, you say, have owned the rp350 two times?....well I like this pedal so much that I purchased a second one just in case my original stops working some day, which I have owned now for over 4 years. These are very durable and reliable. The bottom line here is that this pedal, with enough experimentation, you can achieve pretty much any custom sound that you are looking for, and is extremely user friendly.Read full review
This little machine has got it all! At least for, say, beginner to intermmediate guitarrists who are looking to experiment with the possibilities of new sounds. I bought it because I wanted to have my own effects processor for practice and live situations. Digitech was the obvious place to start looking, I had already played and toyed around with an RP200A and an RP50 that buddies had lent me and I was astounded with the possibilities of control and modelling of sound. The RP350 has way more effects and presets than its counterparts with the nice touch of an expression pedal, USB connectivity and an AMP A/B switch. The modelling process is intuitive and you can modify anything in the effects chain at your own gusto with increasing ease as you get more familiarized with it. You can either start playing around with the knobs until you find something you like, or you can enter the Edit Mode and manually switch around the mods and cabs, distortions, etc. Or, modify it with your computer. The USB connectivity allows for modelling on-screen and saving your presets (you can store 70!) as well as back-up and sharing of presets with other RP350 users. Let me get into that. Digitech has an enthusiastic community of users who are willing to help with any trouble or question you might have regarding the use of your unit or the addition and modelling of new patches. Would you like to sound like your metal gods? or perhaps like your favorite garage band? No problem, these guys might already have come up with the proper settings that you can just download and dial into your pedal. Didn't find the patch you're after? THey can offer guidance in "your quest for tone". USB connectivity also allows for recording with your computer. You can either use Cubase (it comes with the pedal) or your choice program. No USB cable thou The LED display is better than the RP50s, which is only a two digit display. You can enter up to 6 alpha-numeric characters to name your preset and it also has de two digit one. Digitech's website is a good source of information regarding the pedal: downloadable manual, drivers, the X-Edit software (the one you use to edit presets with the computer) and support. THe RP-350 has also got a drum machine that you can play along with, nothing too flashy here, just enough to get the sense of tempo. Do you want to learn a solo or a riff? Just plug your mp3 or computer or whatever source into the machine, and with its Learn-A-Lick function you'll be able to record that bit of the song and replay it, even slow it down so that you can play along. I did not buy it specifically for this, but it has helped a bit. It has an earphones output so there's no need to plug it to an amp or PA to practice. A sturdy and nice looking device, the RP350 has got XLR connectivity besides regular 1/4" plug mono and stereo operation. I've only started using it recently and the sound comming out of the XLR output is just amazing, it's more defined. You can set the pedal to mixer or amp or operation. This allows for better output control. It has a built-in tuner which is not that good, it does a good job though. I don't think I will be getting rid of it any time soon. I've had it for a month or so and I'm still in love with it. It does what I need and there are still many possibilities. You won't explore them all, I'm sure. It looks good, it feels good and it sounds great, better than its predecessors.Read full review
Endless hours of fun with this pedal. Many presets, different sound variations, switch between different head unit sounds and cabinets to make your amp sound like anything from an old fender tube amp to a bass-master amp. easy to use, many presets between distortion, chorus, delays, otivators or whatever sound you want. Customize each preset to sound exactly how you want. You can even play to drums with one button, different beats from rock to hip-hop, speed up, slow down, etc. use the usb interface and software to record and edit. You can also control the entire unit from your PC with the interface and save your presets and record the whole thing.
New to pedals, but from what I have used thus far, this thing is so much fun. The drum machine to let you practice playing helps, tuner, lots of good tones to choose from. and also the volume level is awesome. Good range of volume. It really gets loud! I'd recommend it. I prefer pedals to have the adapter so that was a plus. Just wish it did have the option for batteries as well, but most pedals are either or… You will enjoy this, at any level of playing. The beginners to the pedal world, like myself, will have bright eyes. :)

So I decided to get an effects pedal, searched ebay and found this gem. Even though it's been discontinued, it's a great pedal and a great value. It was new in box and has so many features and effects, I haven't had time to go through them all. Got a great deal and very happy. The downloads are still available on the Digitech website so it's not really outdated. Highly recommended pedal!
