Let me start by saying I do not play the piano. At all. I literally know nothing about them, so I'm not sure how valuable this review will be to anyone. That being said, I decided recently I wanted to learn how to play. I don't have a huge budget, so I started doing research to figure out what I'd even want in a keyboard/piano, and the best one I could get at a decent price. After deciding what features I wanted for myself in a keyboard/piano, (88 keys, sustainer pedal, weighed keys, etc), I ended up finding the name "Alesis Coda Pro" ..I decided to start researching that one and found it had pretty consistent good reviews (not perfect. A few people didn't like the sound, one person commented that the keys are "unforgiving" so if you can learn how to play on it, you can play on any piano, etc) but over all it had positive reviews and came in consistently rated within a few points of a Yamaha model, for hundreds of dollars less. I decided to take the plunge when I found one for 200 less than it's listed retail price. I've had it for a couple weeks now and I still don't know how to play the piano, but I love it. It's nice to practice on and my roommate (who does play the piano) plays on it constantly and is very impressed by it's features. I'm sure a $1000 digital piano has features that this one lacks but they're features I'd never need anyway. I'm very happy with my purchase. I'll be thrilled with my purchase as soon as I learn how to play the dang thing.Read full review

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is versatile and has many features featured on keyboards costing lots more. It has a soft to medium keys feel I prefer the more weighted touch of a real keyboard but that is my personal preference and I am adjusting to it. the two built in speakers deliver a nice tone highs and lows overall. For a fully functional NEW 88 keys piano/organ this can not be beat in this pice range..I paid $399.00 FREE shipping and included console set-up with 3 damper pedals. Very simple set-up I was playing it in less then 10 minutes.

This is well made and sounds great. I'm a beginner but I know quality manufacturing and a friend who has 40 yrs of playing approved of it.
