This leaf blower will surprise you with its power and effectiveness while being a light weight leaf blower. I received the box and thought this may not be a happy day for me as I thought it would arrive in a bigger box.. I slid/locked the nozzle on it, plugged it in AND WOW, what a pleasant surprise to she how good it works!!!! This replaced my Toro Leaf Blower and I just love it! Don't hesitate to buy one as you won't be anything but happy!!!

I have two greenworks products - this leafblower and a weed whacker. Both have worked well, and were very cheap to buy, but both have had "issues". Greenworks is very clear that you should use a proper sized extension cord with this unit, and one that is not too long. I guess if there is a voltage drop, it may damage the motor? I am not sure if this is true, but it was mentioned in the owners manual. The first one I got, from Amazon, worked for a minute or two and was amazing - such power! Then it died. They sent me a replacement within a few days and that one worked great for a few years. We used it maybe once a month to clean out the garage and blow leaves and lawn clippings off the sidewalk and driveway. This year, it died. The switch was bad, so I jumpered it out so it would run as soon as you plugged it in. I figured it was the beginning of the end. A few months later, in the middle of a job, it started to slow down dramatically and I notice sparks flying out of the top - where the brushes contact the armature. Several reviewers on Amazon have commented on the brush issue. So I assume they are worn out or something. So now I am looking for a new one. Do I get another one (the price has gone up since I bought the last one) or bite the bullet and get a rechargeable one which is only a few dollars more? I think I only paid like $25 for this originally, which was pretty cheap. $35? Maybe not such a great deal. For the price, this thing was OK and it was powerful. But in terms of quality and longevity, it just isn't there. A lawn care company would burn this out in a weekend. A typical homeowner would probably blow it up in a year. The only reason it lasted as long as it did was that we rarely used it. The cheerleading reviews on eBay, in pidgin English, are more than a little suspect. I think a lot of these five-star reviews are put up by the manufacturer. Shame on eBay!Read full review

Meant for apartment renters and those with a small patios - a full size yard would probably burn it up. But it is perfect for me and works very well, better than I expected. I had a smaller cheaper one before, but it did burn up. I don't expect that from this one as I did some research on it before I bought it. It DOES NOT have it's own cord, but easily uses an extension cord (use a good one with at least 12 ga wiring - not something you would use on a clock or something)

This is truly a light weight leaf blower and it does the job. The air tube comes off for easy storage. The only issue is the high whine of the smaller electric motor. I suggest wearing top rated ear plugs like I do. I have never had a problem with "GreenWorks" anything!
