I have a collection of "cheap" banjos. I am not an entertainer, I'm just a musician who enjoys playing, either by myself or with a select few. Because my banjo's are relatively inexpensive, I have to bring out the quality I want by my own adjustments and upgrades. These are the best strings I've found, for my applications. They play easily, last longer, and ring out as good as any I've found. I would recommend J60's to anyone who is serious about getting the most out of their banjo without breaking the bank!

These strings have a very bright crisp tone without sounding tinny. I like the light gauge, they are loud and very easy on the fingers.

What's not to like. I knew what they were, use D'Addario strings on other instruments and like the protective packaging. Wouldn't have boughtt them otherwise.
