After doing a bunch of research on rangefinders, I settled on the Bushnell Sport 850. When it arrived, I immediately started estimating distances around my home. It turned out I was way off on estimations and began to doubt the rangefinder. I broke out the tape measure and found out the distances displayed on the screen were dead on out to just over 250 yards. I have used it in the field now for about six hunting trips and have had no problem at all getting ranges out to almost 600 yards. It is a great little rangefinder and I would recommend it to anyone.
This is my second Bushnell Sport 850 unit. The first one took a bath in a water hazard and any GPS unit couldn't have survived that dunking! This Sport 850 doesn't have the "slope" feature, but I find the Sport 850 still a useful tool. It does have its faults. I don't believe it was made specifically for golf. It can't always read at what I point at --- I just find something close OR move the distance spot around the flag, I have a Garmin Approach S2 watch which I LOVE because it is fast and unassuming on my wrist. I use it 99% of the time for golf. But...when that one shot calls for knowing how far a sand trap or other hazard is away I pull out the Sport 850. It works very well, not perfectly, but I keep it in my bag just for that one time I need it.

Is is easy to use and accuracy. The system work well come with protection case. It is light weight. Recommend this product.
Good rangefinder for a good price. It doesn't have all those fancy features other rangefinders do, but it is great for general archery if hunting isn't your focus. If you plan on using it for hunting it is decent. Supposedly it can't range deer past 200 yards and I've yet to test it for that range.
