The scope is a single 2X power, so it's limited in magnification, but pistol use is close range so you're not engaging a target at 500+ yards with one. The scope does need to be mounted about 15 inches from the users eye, and only has a short distance plus or minus that to stay within the focal range. Otherwise it blacks out the image. That being said, it is fairly clear and the cross hairs are pretty easy to see. I had intended to put it on a pistol build, but couldn't mount it far enough forward for use, so I am thinking about putting it on my Mini 14 with an ATI stock on the forward picatinny rail in a Scout Rifle layout.

I mounted this scope on a .44 revolver. So far... So good! Seems to be clear, and holding up to 245 grain .44 rounds. Time will tell. But for the price it's worth it

China. Had hoped to use as a rifle scout scope. It’s too short to fit the mount. Might work on a handgun?

At 10 meters, there seems to be almost no parallax. The visibility was so clear that I didn't feel the need to adjust the diopter. Very decent pistol scope!
