cracks, mechanical issues or discolorations. Item overall is in Moderate condition. This sale contains a Manhattan Project A Bomb Pin from WWII. The Manhattan
Project was the effort which led to the development of the atomic bomb
by the US during WW-II. After the surrender of Japan, and the disbandment
of the project, each of the approximately 132,000 project members
received one of these lapel pins. The bronze pin shown in this sale signifies a worker who was on the project for one year or less.The pin is 3/4" in diameter. The back of the pin is stamped "W&H Co". The pin is in ok condition for its age. The pin show signs of rubbing, scratching and a few nicks from wear.
Shows wear commensurate with age.
