Sterling silver/copper tea set made by one of the great silversmiths of the Taxco district in Mexico. 4 pieces of beautifully hand crafted sterling silver and copper with rosewood handles with a nicely aged patina. The teapot creamer and sugar all have hinged lids and all pieces are silver lined with applied silver geometric pattern around the middle, the tray hasthe same applied pattern around the wide rim. All are in excellent condition. The tray measures 13 7/8" wide , the teapot measures 7" tall, the sugar measures 3 3/8" tall, the creamer measures 3 5/8" tall
All pieces are signed by the maker and consistently numbered. Signed "Victoria Mexico Taxco Copper 482" for Ana Maria Nunez de Britianti 1950-70.
