The Gibson Junior TB-JR 4 String Tenor Banjo
This sale is for a The Gibson Junior TB-JR 4 String Tenor Banjo. Everything shown in the pictures are included in this sale. It's unknown if this item has all of it's original accessories or parts. Item is untested. We are not musical instrument experts, so we take as many closeup shots for buyers/collectors to see any blemishes, body issues, chips or cracks. Item overall is in moderate condition.This item is in used condition and does bare the marks of use . The strings age is unknown and may need to be replaced. All the knobs appear to be present and do turn freely but are dirty so they may need a cleaning and oiling. There is some light to moderate fret wear and some scrapes and scratches on the fingerboard. There is a large crack in the resonator so it will need to be replaced.(see photos) Theheadis very dirty and dusty and has a lot of scrapes on it from play. The head may need to be replaced as it does have a lot of deep scratches on it. All of the hard ware has some light rusting but nothing thatisn'tcleanable. the neck does have some spots where the finish has been completely worn off and exposed bare wood. Some of the pot bolts are twisted andslightlybent. this item has not been tuned not tested for playability and may need to be serviced by a professional. The exact age of this item is unknown. The serial number on this item is 11219A-17. This item will make a great addition to any collection after some clean up and restoration.
