Recovering Kit-Ford Explorer Console LID/ARMREST
There is no need to spend $70+ for a used lid or $180 for a new lid when you can easily reupholster it yourself in 25 minutes for far less $$$.

This listing is for the following kit:

• One replacement, cut to shape console lid cover material made out of premium faux leather. This pattern will fit most 95-01 Explorers and Mercury Mountaineers. This will also fit most ’01-’02 Sport Tracs. Please review the pictures to ensure thatyou have the same style of console lid.
• Instructions on how to remove your torn vinyl and replace with a new color matching piece of cover material. It will look better than new when finished!

Hello! We’ve reupholstered hundreds of console lids in the past. Many ers have requested that we sell the material directly because they didn’t want to wait a week or two without a console lid while we repair it. So because of that, we’ve decided to sell this do-it-yourself kit.

Along with the replacement material, we’re including full instructions from dismantling to installation. Including pictures!!! All you will need is a phillips screwdriver and a staple gun. We prefer using an Arrow T-50 Staple Gun, which is commonly found in most households. Using the directions, you can generally reupholster your console lid within 15-25 minutes!

How do we match your interior color? Easily! We carry all 6 colors that were used on the 95-01 Ford Explorers and Mercury Mountaineers. When you proceed to the "Review Your Purchase" screen, please provide us with the color that you need in the "Add Message" box area. Or you may send a separate email through with your color choice or interior trim code after purchasing. If you aren’t sure, then please locate the white sticker on the driver’s side door. There is a small area that is labeled “Int Tr”, which is the interior trim code. We will need to know the two characters under the “Int Tr” section to determine the color of your interior.

Note: We cannot ship your kit until you provide us with the color needed!
