anyone ever made there own evaporative cooler.

Has anyone ever made there own evaporative cooler. I'm getting geared up for Summer time as last year I could handle the heat inside the "hothouse"!!!

I like the coolair.com site 8"PVC pipe & pads.

Anyone have any pictures for referencing. tnx.

I built my own with 1/2" pvc pipe with holes drilled every inch that drip water through a horse hair pad. Swamp cooler.
