how often change the nutrient solution

how often do you change the nutrient solution, in your 11 plant garden? every week, every 2 weeks, once a month? probably as soon as the nutrients start getting low? then you need a tds meter huh?

When the water level gets so low the pump starts to suck air unless my plants show signs of a problem then I change it immediately.
