Indoor Pest control

I currently do not have a pest problem, But I would like it to stay that way.... I read about a product called PROZAP that you hang in your grow area to prevent and alleviate pest problems.

Do any of you use this or do you recommend another product?

I have about 3-5 lady bugs that somehow made there way into the basement in the fall. They hang out on the plants, bins, shelving, light fixtures etc.

I have no pests, but it's kind of like having some soldiers on duty. :)

I use BT for my outdoor plants as cabbage loopers and hornworms tend to visit. BT takes care of them quickly. Of course my boot does a good job too!

Preventative pest control is the best pest control if you ask me. Lady bugs are great defenders against pest infestations because they eat them. There are other kinds of predatory bugs you can use too.

I've used Azamax for almost all of my gardens and I think it works really well. It's supposed to be organic and it doesn't leave a taste or residue on the plants. It's not a harsh chemical, it messes up the brain chemistry of the insects and makes them do things like stop reproducing and makes them stop eating so they eventually die out. You can put it right in your nutrient reservoir if you have a drip system or hydroponics system. Then if any bugs try to eat the plant, they will get the Azamax.

Azamax works great. Also a poduct by nutrilife call SM-90 is made from plant oils and does a great job on a wide variety of pests. If you mix a little into a weekly foliar spray regimen it will help prevent pest problems in the first place (plus it smells great!)

I have some AzaMax, and it does work, but you need to really spray regularly like 2-3 times a week. Same with NEEM oil that I also have, and have used. Maybe not so much if you don't already have a problem, but with the flying aphids, and white fly's that I was having problems with. It would be much better right after spraying, but they would be right back again in full force in about 3-4 days. And I gave it a good spraying every time, including the undersides of the leaves.
