exactly you ment by Growing medium?

I was wondering what exactly you ment by Growing medium? Does that mean Dirt or fertilized soil or something?

Dirt, grow rocks, rockwool, coconut fiber, pea gravel, wood chips are some examples of grow mediums. You add fertilizer to the medium. That is where the plants gets the nutrients to grow and not from the medium.
