roots keep growing into the pipes
 

Hello, I'm using Dyna-Gro systems solution and I am ending up with a pH of 3.5!!!!!! Has any similar problems been reported with this solution, and is Sodium Hydroxide ok to use as a buffer, if not what can be used? Thanks, O. Ragette

I would first check the pH of your water with no nutrient solution to see how low it is. You may have to let your water air out for 24 hours to let the chloride evaporate before you can use it.
Yes Sodium Hydroxide is ok.
