Using a fogger to root cuttings?

I am going to put together a fog cloner today, i am not happy with the results i received with the bucket set up i had,

I have 4 cuttings in my bucket cloner and they have roots but not very many
and they have been in there for about a month, so i am looking to speed the
process,

I think the biggest problem was the sprayers wash off the rooting hormone
and even though it gets mixed in and is floating through the water i feel it would be more benefical for the cutting if it was able to fully absorb the hormone before it is washed away.

Im hoping that the fog will solve this problem

Anybody else use a fogger for cloning?
If so what are the turn around times

for rooting cuttings?

will look something like this,

the fogger i have heats the water to about 80 deg f. but with
the gutting just being exposed to fog and not touching the water i think it will be fine, one way to tell for sure is to test it out,

i will put some pics of the set up later

besides the rooting hormone what else do you use while rooting your cuttings?

how long after the roots "pop" from the cutting can you fertilize?
( i killed a few clones, fert to early i think)

I just use damp pumice to root my cuttings, put a wet plastic bag over the top and it works really well.
