best place to position the overflow

Ron, i would like to build a 20 ft long, ebb & flow system to grow tomatoes, Where would be the best place to position the overflow, close to the reservoir, in the middle or at the end of the 20ft and route the drain back to the resiviour. Thank you- Luke- Elucas2240@aol.com

It is more important to place the intake in the middle to fill the bottles more evenly. The over flow won't work until the bottles are filled so it can go anywhere.
