I am new on the net so bear with me. I have a hydroponic tomato house and this year I have had

Beneficial insects that control Spider Mites seems to be the safest way to go.
The spider mite predator you need is the phytoseiulus persimilis which is one of the most effective
and widely used of all the beneficial insects.
They claim because the P. persimilis reproduces twice as fast as the spider mite, control can be
achieved in a matter of a few weeks.
Check with the larger seed companies or nurseries to get them.

spider mite control

hey rick , i am very experienced with mites ,and yes ron is right that is the best natural predator for mites. if you want more info on what spray i have used to control them i can get you some info on a home made product i buy from a local guy ,i think he only makes it once a month though so you have to request it ahead of time. he says it is 100% organic (i trust him he is an old hippie home gardener with a degree in botany) and this stuff really works!! and the mite doesn't seem to build a tolerance or resitance with repeated use! . he makes it all from plants , i think it might have pyrethrum(carsanthymum flower)in it but i am not sure ,he keeps the recipe a secret. all i know is that it friggin' works and after spending tons of $$$ on other "snake oil" from the local hydro shops and being ripped off,it is worth the time to get it from a local producer. this is his contact email just ask him about his "AN-BOM" bug spray product "jusritebags@gmail.com" hope this helps ,andy
