Planning to start out growing lettuce. Already have 1000W MH we use for starting seeds.

Want to use ebb & flow.

Any suggestions for media? Will the clay balls work with a small-seeded plant like lettuce? This is leaf lettuce and it is not practical to transplant it.

Have you thought about using rockwool starter cubes. They can go directly into a growrock system.
