my leaves are getting yellow spots

i have six plants in 4" pots all in about 1-1.5 inches of water/nutrient solution. I started with miracle grow and my leaves are getting yellow spots and is in a 5-1 lava rock/ vermiculite planting medium. Do you have any suggestions to improve growing? thanks

Yes don't use Miracle gro. It's for dirt.

Do not use miracle grow regularly for your plants.
Use it occasionally. Hope your growth of plants would be
better by using this suggestion.
