how to hook up the pump

hello my name is jessica and i am building your 11 plant system for a science fair project. i am almost done but don't know how to hook up the pump or how it works if you could tell me how this works i will be on my way to growing plants thank you very much

P.S. very cool site it is what i have been looking for almost 3 weeks thanks again jess

The pump sits in the solution tank because it is submersible. It connects to the garden system and when the pump comes on it pumps the solution up to the garden to water the plants. When the pump shuts off the solution drains back to the tank through the pump until the the next watering cycle.
