Perfect! There is A new product called sure-to-grow but just as with rockwool A demonstration video shows A little seperation of the material when it gets wet. Thanks for the info!

Def. start in rockwool cubes. Also, instead of the stone chips, you should be using something that will hold water like crushed lava rock or hydroton. You would not need perlite in this case....
