scored big today

went to the restore here in town and found 27 bags [4cuft]of perlite for 4.00 a bag,the cashier discounted them to 3.50 a bag sense I bought 10 bags
ill be going back to pick up the rest next week:D...

yes a block yard is were masonry supplies are sold .perlite also is used to fill around blast furnaces boilers and such to insulate them
replaced vermiculite due to the asbestos issue with it

what is everyone's opinion on per lite for grow media
I can purchase it for locally for 9.00 a 4 cuft bag
going to use it for tomatoes and peppers in bags with drippers and drain to waste set up...
