Thanks. I have room for vines to grow...so I guess I can do watermelons, cantaloupes, strawberries. I don't have room for trees at this point - need to stick to something that yields the first year.

My thinking is that all of the space could be utilized. A square that has the same area as a circle has a smaller side than the diameter of a circle. Unless the round pots were all pushed together...

Sustained yield

I am just getting my feet wet in hydroponics (pun intended) by growing wheat grass in water. My next step is to grow kale and other green leafy vegetables, followed by tomatoes, etc.
