great setup, thanks for posting the pictures. I would go with a standard sprinkler pump timer. Intermatic makes them as well, should last for years.

so I shouldn't be spraying the nutrients all over the plants... ? :eek:

Anyone using LED grow lights? The seem promising as the prices drop down the reasonable levels given the power savings and smaller amounts of heat generated.

Hey my hydroponic tomato looks sickly. What is wrong with it. The light was less then 2 ft away for a while. It is a 400watt metal halide light. The ph is kept at 5.8-6.0.
