The second problem is some type of bug, parisite or dease..(I think) this i just on the tomato plants and its on the leaves it looks as if there are snail trails on the leaves small whitish curly trails, I have searched tha plants for bugs and cant find any.
Leaf miners. I don't have time right now to get links (time for me to go to bed), but look up "Leaf Miners". They live inside the plant tissue, that's why you cant find them. They eat the plant tissue from inside as they move (leaving the trails). I would also use air stones, and H2O2 to get rid of the algae, and help with root rot (as well as block light).
