I like the flora series myself, but where I live it's not what I would call cheep. Buying the gallon size (of all 3 needed), costs over $75 (+shipping for me), for a total of over $100, and only makes about 380 gallons (depending on how you mix it). That's about $0.40 to $0.45 per gallon of nutrient solution. I like the flora series, and I'm glad I used it to start with because I knew it was a good product and would work. But now that I'm expanding my hydroponic setups, I'm experimenting with other nutrients because of the cost.
