To tell you the truth I only change my
nutrient solution if my plants show signs of trouble like yellowing or burnt tips. When I here the
pump sucking and see my plants wilting then I know it's time to fill up the tank. The small gardens like the 11 plant needs more maintenance so I would change it more often especially if the water gets funky.
