I flush with pH adjusted 5.8 water. As stated by someone else previously the purpose in flushing is to remove the buildup of salts as well as to rid your medium of excess
nutrients that might be causing nute burn or lockout of other nutrients. Just make sure you use pH adjusted water and you will be just fine. Peace
