My only personal beef with
aeroponics is the possibility of sprayer clogging. I'm doing some chives in soil at the moment, however I could easily see them doing well in a BiB-DWC with a fine grade of hydroton.
I am not sure if it is just me but some of the newer batches of rockwool that I have acquired seem more flimsy, closer to soil. They fall apart much easier than before, that's why I asked.
