Default spraying nutrient solution on the plant?

Ron, My system uses spickets that spray the nutrient solution over the plants and perlite. Are there any problems with spraying the nutrient solution directly on the plant? Will it do any more than leave spots on the leaves? Also, would I need to rinse the perlite off every so often to get rid of salt deposits?

Thanks, Mike Tesnohlidek

Foliage feeding can be very beneficial to plants if it isn't to strong. I think it would be a very good idea to run clear water through your system to flush away impurities. If it isn't to much trouble I would do it every couple weeks.
