how many times will I start the drip system

Hi Ron. First, congratulations for you and for your Pipe Dreams site. I've learned a lot of things (almost all I know ...!) on your Website. I have two questions: * I'm thinking of building a 1 gallon system with growrocks, but the "pipes" will be used only for draining. The water will be emitted by a drip system. My question is : how long, and how many times will I start the drip system, because I think that the drip system emit less water than the classic Ebb & Flow system. * My second question is: what is the difference between the WHITE PVC and the GREY PVC (both are plumbing pipes), and is the gray one good for a 1 gallon system. I live in France, and the WHITE PVC is hard to find and more expensive. Thank you for your site again.

I drip for 15 minutes on 15 minutes off 24/7.
I don't know about France but here in the US gray pipe cost more. It doesn't matter if it's pink. PVC pipe is PVC pipe.
