Wink fogger in ebb and flow system

I am wondering, I am making an ebb n flow system. But I was wondering if I could save water, and just use the fogger when I flood my system. What are your thoughts on this idea? A fogger would spray alot of nutrients. I have seen this system used (a fogger) andthey also used a drip system in combination. If I am using rock wool, which is pretty good in retaining water, I think the fogger could be used on its own. Anyone with any thoughts on my idea?

Default Hydroponic system with rock wool and fogger

I am not a big fan of rock wool, it will alter your nutrient pH. Check out sure to grow cubes or rapid rooter plugs. Are you thinking of a sonic fogger or using "fogging" spray nozzles? A hybrid system that uses both nft and aeroponics (foggers) is a good set up. Click here for a pic of a system like this that I had good success with.

God bless and happy growing
