Looks nice piperjim,
Just a little friendly FYI, once those plants get bigger it will become a real hassle to move them out of the way to do reservoir maintenance. I'm wondering what type of pump your using? The only reason I ask is that I have never seen a cord like that on a water or air pump. It looks more like a cord for a laptop, printer etc. to me.

I can see why you'd think that. Now that I look at it, it looks that way to me too Actually that's the back of the timer the timer dial is on the flip side. My pump is a Harbour Freight 264 GPH which seems to work just fine. I have another one (bigger) for a vertical NFS unit that I'm building. I'm half done with that one so I will post pics soon.

I didn't think I would have any trouble with maintenance. The plants are in plastic cups inside the bottles and I think I can just take them out, cups, plants and all, and set them aside while I do the maintenance.
