what is everyone's opinion on per lite for grow media
I can purchase it for locally for 9.00 a 4 cuft bag going to use it for tomatoes and peppers in bags with drippers and drain to waste set up outside piping systems in the future but gota get to that point beginning the disability junk is putting the squeeze on us at the moment so this is a way to make some progress and re invest the income into the green house for next winter Doc. ![]() |

Where are you able to find Perlite at that price? The best price I've found is $19.95 for 2 cubic feet. Perlite is a good growing media, but not the best for flood and drain system because it floats.

What's a block yard? it sounds like a place they sell bricks and masonry stuff. Do they use it as a mortar additive like sand.

This is the first time I've used it, weird stuff but the strawberries seem to like it. I started some seeds in it also and they did ok, but I killed them cuz I didn't have the time to get them transplanted into a system.
