A good place to find empty bleach bottles is in dumpsters behind laundry businesses.

I am going to use 4 inch pipe all the way to the tank so their won't be any back up of water leading back to the tank. Last year I had a problem with the water not draining fast enough when I dropped down to a smaller pipe size that returned to the tank.

The tank sits in an insulated metal box below ground to help keep the nutrient solution temperature down because water chillers cost to much.

How To

To curl your 2-liter bottles heat an old Teflon coated frying pan to 150 degrees and slowly turn the bottle and it will start to curl inward. Have a 16 ounce solo cup ready to cram in the soft pliable bottle to form it around the solo cup.
