special types of seeds
I am new to hydroponics. Do you have to use special types of
seeds
in order for the plant to grow? Or can I just open a pack of tomato seeds that I bought in Kmart? If so, how do I start from seeds?

Yes you can use store bought
seeds
. Start them in vermiculite and then transplant them to hydro when they get about 4" tall.
