Default PVC vs. Vinyl Fence Posts for Hydro

Hi there - is there any appreciable difference between using vinyl fence post sleeves, vs. PVC sleeves (or pipe) for a vertical grow system? Vinyl fence posts are a good bit cheaper than PVC versions, so they are attractive from a cost point of view, but not if PVC is safer.

Thanks!

Best, Peter

From a application standpoint, both PVC and vinyl work fine. But I have never seen vinyl cheaper than PVC. Also I don't think I have ever even seen PVC fence post sleeves. Vinyl fence post sleeves have UV resistors in it, PVC doesn't. PVC fence post sleeves would discolor within a year in the sun withough't UV resistors.
