Should be plenty. I grew cantaloupe in the 16 ounce cup system a few years back.

Sorry to drag up an old post. But I just failed at trying to grow a watermelon in a dwc system. Granted it could only hold about 2 gallons of nutrients, but I want to try again.
Is there a cheap way to build a system that will grow a watermelon plant? I don't want to spend more than like $20.00. I have some stuff like tubing and a sump pump that isn't doing anything (not sure if you could use it for hydroponics). I saw the pvc stuff you did a while back, but I don't want to go too crazy. I want to keep it as simple as possible. If I can't do something for around $20.00, how much do you think I need to invest? |
