New Forum Folders - Individual Plants
I'd like to see a section in the forum for individual plants. I've heard that strawberries need winterizing (not sure how but i guess i understand it). Lettuce likes different lighting than tomatoes, etc.
It seems that if there was a folder that would allow 1 post per plant type where details, tips, etc can be given per plant. |

sounds good but takes a lot of space. strawberries need to have down time and be refrigerated for 6 weeks. i am newbie on strawberries but the are fussy little plants.

Pepper plant
So after a exhausting internet search, I think this is a pepper plant. Anybody agree?
I only have one plant so I hope what I've read is correct it that they are self pollinators. |

They don't look like any peppers I've grown. But looking closer at the leaves and noticing the V shape where the leaves meat the stem, they look like green beans I grew last year, and they could produce clusters of flowers like that. That's what I found odd before when I mentioned they have a lot of flowers on them. But given the two choices between Squash and pumpkin (which are squash also), I didn't really look at them much because as far as I know all squash plants look the same until the squash themselves actually begin to develop.

Ok, wow! I will spend some time researching them. I did find some picts on a garden website that had pepers that looked very similar including the white flower bunches. I guess only time will really tell, but I really appriciate all the help and info.

GPSFrontier you are a Genius. Found some photos of a string bean plant that matches it down to the leaves. Thanks so much for your help!
