hydroponics
I would like to grow some tomato plants by hydroponics. Can someone give me some info on this; some drawings, perhaps, to help get me started. Your help would be appreciated. Thank you.

first question is how much space do you ? I currently have one plant going its a beefsteak tomato, it about 3 foot across and 5 foot high currently has about 20 tomatoes on it and has more blossoms coming. I have seen tomato plants that are 6 foot across and 7 foot high.

Yes, tomato plants can get quite big, and you need to consider space for both the foliage (leaves and fruit), as well as the root mass. Personally I wouldn't use anything less than five gallons of root space for growing tomato. If it were me I would build a system like this easy to build hydro system for growing just about any large plant like tomato's. You can easily customize it to any space you have to work with.
