16\' brass tag reads E. M. White Canoe Made in Old Town, Maine. White built canoes in Old Town from 1896 into the early 40\'s then changed name to White Canoe Company late 40\'s. (estate find Central Maine) Canoe hull is tight, straight and rigid. NO BROKEN or cracked ribs. Keel is in good shape. One could use this canoe as-is, doubt if it would leak at all. obvious Restoration needed. Has been fiber glassed over and has many bottom glass patches, see photos. There are no serial numbers on early White canoes. After WWII they did stamp them inside bow. NO SHIPPING, pick up only. PayPal payment. THANKS
