The Puma White Hunter is handmade in Germany. The 6\" drop point blade is German Grade 1.4116 Stainless Steel, and the Handmade Scale Slabs are wild Stag creating one of the most beautiful hunting knives made. The knife was originally developed in 1956 in conjunction with the East African Professional Hunter’s Association to be the leading knife for big game hunting. As the photo\'s shows there\'s a scratch or stain here and there. I bought the knife in the 70\'s, it was made in 1974 guess a 43 year old knife and sheath have earned the right to a scratch or stain here and there.
