I love the special needs Down\'s syndrome babies. They are beautiful. They have such perfect spirits. This is Lillian Breedveld\'s creation sculpt of Pebbles. Pebbles has 3/4 arms and full legs on a cloth jointed body approximately 20 inches long weighing around 4-5 pounds.I always give my reborn babies a very warm soapy bath to remove all the factory oils so that the Genesis paints adheres like it is supposed to. Pebbles has many layers of heat paints with lots of mottling giving her skin realistic three D depth. You can see in the pictures of her feet how good I painted the creasing and how good I painted the fingernails and toesnails. I also always open the nose for realism. Pebbles has Lausha blue flatback glass eyes. I never use cheap acrylic eyes on my babies. The best goes into them. I rooted dark auburn mohair on her too. I applied the eyelashes very carefully and painted fine eyebrows. Pebbles can take a magnetic pacifier and I also gave her a magnet in her head for pretty magnetic bows. When reborn babies has sparse hair, it is much easier to give them a magnetic bow. Pebbles will be wearing the pink satin-like dress with attached petticoat, matching bloomer and bonnet. She also has a diaper and will also come with a new flannel blanket. I also attach a signature confirmation to every baby that gets mailed out so that they are not left alone on any doorstep. Because Pebbles has full legs, she will be packed in a larger priority box.
