Great, Great shape for 30 year old masterpieces., no apologies for any small\"beauty marks \"., these look amazing to any discerning musician . Cherry wood . Danish oiled only. Heads good and Bereck. There will be two small holes on upper sides where stand hardware will be removed ,these can become a place for a handle, as I have seen before ,or as well, a custom madename plaque would be aperfect placement,or a small plug and stain job, with no aesthetic or sound deviation.. I have shown a close up of holes in a photo as well. (The \"lightness\" surrounding holes is where the hardware was taken off. I only used Dutch Oil..sowhen more is applied, that area will darken like the rest.)

There are no cracks in the seams, and have mainly been played from the ground, they arein great condition and quality even after all these years.. (,as one would expect from the \"Master\" craftsmans product..)

Jay Bereck is Internationally known for his congas and their amazing \"sound\". He has retired from production, and his congas can only become more valuable, and certainly will maintain a high value.
