The alpaca is a product of ancient Andeancivilizations, when 6,000 years ago it had already evolved from the vicuña toproduce a unique fibre. Alpaca fibre has worldwide renown for its luxuriousquality . Alpaca fibre is fine, strong (second only to silk among naturalfibres), very warm, comfortable and with the lightness of a feather.

Alpaca fiber is an expensive fiber,most of our products are mixtures witheither wool sheep or acrylicor both, unless it specifically says it is 100% alpaca.
